Here Comes The 4th Of July!

The summer is just flying by. We are going to head out to our mall, to pick up a little outfit for Brianna for the 4th. She has recently started showing fear of thunder and lightening. I am not sure how she will do this year, with fireworks.
Recently we have gotten an ok to see a Neurologist. She is progressing well, with all her milestones except she is delayed with verbal. Her congnitive development is extremely good. I am feeling better though because lately, I have read about a speech processing disorder called Apraxia. I am looking forward to working with Neurology to help my little girl in every way I can.
Tonite we are going to a waterpark for toddlers that should definitely be a hit!

Summer is here, being sick is no fun!

Well, I realize it has been awhile since I have written. Really need to try to get on here more often. Writing is good for the soul, I have heard! We have finally entered summer. Here we have gotten days and days of rain. I have spent the last 7 days trying to recover from a viral infection. So much fun! Three year olds do not understand, the idea of Mommy not feeling well. Happily I am feeling alot better. My daughter just finished, her first year of preschool. I can not believe how quickly this year is going.
The hospital where my daughter was born, is doing a study on micro-preemies. She has been asked to attend. There are not many studies that have been done, on the outcomes of micro-preemies after having been released from the NICU as infants. I am glad they are doing the study. I think it will help parents in the future, know in some cases, the issues that can arise for micro-preemies as they grow.
Recently I have started working a couple more sites to go with my GPT sites. I have also found some good advertising sites that are free. That is always...

Mom to a little girl, born at 23 weeks.

Well, I have had my website (WWW.MakesMoney.8M.Com) up for a couple years and have decided to add a blog to it.
In 2006, I gave birth to my daughter. She was born a micro-preemie 23 weeks 4 days. She weighed 1.5 pounds. She is now 3 years old and you would, never know she was born a micro-preemie. She is definitely my little miracle and has brought so much happiness, to my husband and I and everyone who knows her.
She spent 6 months in the NICU. We brought her home on oxygen and monitors. She had many doctor appointments and it was a rough road at first.
Things have gotten more normal. We have not had to many issues in the last year or so except with her eyes. Last week she had strabimus eye surgery. This was due to her eyes crossing. At this point her eyes are completely straight. I am already noticing differences in her behavior. The eye surgery was nerve racking but well worth it. I did have some difficulty with the appearance of her eyes at first after the surgery. They are alot less shocking as they heal.
